Sermon: Pastor Jeff Milsten
Pomeroy Service 8 a.m.
Daily Worship Corner
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.” Matthew 5:48
To be a disciple means that we deliberately identify ourselves with God’s interests in other people.
“That ye love one another; as I have loved you. . . “ God will give us communion with people with whom we have no natural affinity.
God’s life in us expresses itself as God’s life, not as human life trying to be godly.
When we come in contact with things that create a buzz, we find to our amazement that we have power to keep wonderfully poised in the center of it all.

Each lesson stands alone and the first lesson this fall will be on Peace. There is a workbook, so if you plan to join this fall; speak with Marcene. We will finish before Christmas. We do not have a lead child care person at this point. This is a paid position; please let Marcene know if you would be willing to step up or if you have someone in mind who may be interested.
